Take a tour of our new building!

Where we started:

From rescuing one special needs kitten in Bradenville, to taking in strays in Pittsburgh, to running a rescue out of the basement of a rental house in Greensburg, to running it out of a rental in Jeanette, to renting a 100+ year old church and turning it into a rescue to buying a building in Monessen . . .This Rescue has come a looooonnnnng way!

In December 2007, we bought the Rescue it’s very own Building in Donora, PA. A beautiful Polish-Catholic church built in 1903; it is was going to save smaller, furry souls!  The building had great bones but needed a ton of work.

Then in August 2016, we were hit by a tornado and needed a whole new roof! Although we begged and pleaded and did our best to raise funds, nothing happened other than several contractors stealing our money and not doing their job.

Eventually $50,000 worth of damage turned into $250,000 and still no one seemed to care. So when I finally got a settlement from being injured at work I decided to buy the rescue a new building. I found a rather large Duplex in Monessen, PA. Sadly this leaves me with no money to live on or money to run the rescue.

We desperately need donations of pet food, litter, supplies, building supplies and monetary donations to get the animals into there new home and to keep this rescue running smoothly. Please consider making a donation to help us get our Doors Offically Open for Business!
